CBS 2 is the CBS owned-and-operated station in Los Angeles, and it runs as a duopoly with KCAL 9, so the two share one of the largest local news operations in the country. Channel 2 carries the network you tune in for on Sundays: NFL on CBS, the NCAA tournament, 60 Minutes, the late local news. You don't need cable for any of it.
