Ever since it launched Mad Men in 2007, AMC quickly came to be known as one of the premium cable channels to watch, along with other high-quality hit generators like HBO, Showtime, Starz, and FX. It gained even more popularity with the release of The Walking Dead, Breaking Bad, and Better Caul Saul in the years that followed. Now, people tune in for shows like Dark Winds, Interview with the Vampire, Gangs of London, and the countless Walking Dead spin-offs.
In the past, you had to have cable to access AMC, but these days a simple internet connection is all you need to start watching it. In some instances, you don’t even have to pay—at least not immediately.
To watch AMC for free, you can sign up for any of the free trials offered by the services below. The trials vary in length by service, so make sure you cancel before the trial ends. Otherwise, you’re charged the regular monthly fee for a subscription that gives you access to other channels and features, which you can read more about below.
