FOX One vs Fubo: Every Plan Compared

By The Spool Editors · Published September 17, 2026 · Updated October 8, 2026

FOX One is the newest way to watch FOX without cable, and at $19.99 it costs a quarter of what Fubo does. That gap is doing a lot of work in people's heads, so it is worth being precise about what the cheaper option leaves out. One of these is a single broadcaster's channels in an app. The other is a 219-channel cable replacement. Here is every plan on both sides.

Price Breakdown & Hike History

FOX One is $19.99 a month or $199.99 a year. Fubo starts at $64.99 for the Sports and News plan and $79.99 for Pro, and the Pro price is before the regional sports fee, which runs $3 to $17 a month depending on your market. That fee is the part people miss when they compare the sticker prices.

FOX One: FOX One launched in August 2025 at $19.99 a month and has held that price since.

Fubo: Fubo Pro sits at $79.99 in 2026, up from $54.99 two years earlier, with the regional sports fee charged separately.

Channel Lineups Head-to-Head

FOX One carries FOX, FS1, FS2, the Big Ten Network, FOX News, FOX Business, FOX Weather and FOX Deportes, plus your local FOX station. That is the entire list. Fubo Pro carries 219 channels including all four broadcast networks, the ESPN networks, TNT, USA and up to 40 regional sports networks. Fubo Elite goes to 297.

Channel by Channel

Only on Fubo: ABC, ACC Network, Bravo, CBS, Comedy Central, Disney Channel, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, FX, Freeform, Game Show Network, ION, MSNBC, MTV, NBC, NFL Network, Oxygen, The CW, USA, VH1.

On both: FOX, FS1, FS2, Fox Business.

Your Local Channels & Your Team's RSN

This is where the decision usually gets made. Both services carry local stations in most markets, but coverage and regional sports vary city by city and team by team.

Add-Ons & Hidden Costs

FOX One add-ons: FOX Nation and ESPN Unlimited bundle. The bundle worth knowing about is FOX One plus ESPN Unlimited at $39.99, which is $11.99 less than buying both.

Fubo add-ons: Sports Plus with NFL RedZone, Fubo Extra, International packs, and Premium channels. The hidden cost on Fubo is the regional sports fee, which is charged on top of Pro and Elite and varies by market.

How to Try Each One Free

FOX One runs a 3-day free trial that needs a card. Fubo runs 7 days. If you are testing for one specific event, the FOX One window is tight but workable, and Fubo gives you a full week, which is enough to see a weekend of games on both.

The Cheapest Way to Get What You Want

Work out whether anything you watch lives outside FOX. If nothing does, FOX One annual at $199.99 is the cheapest answer on this page, around $16.67 a month. If you need ESPN too, the $39.99 FOX One and ESPN bundle beats Fubo Sports and News at $64.99. Only once you need CBS, NBC or a regional sports network does Fubo become the cheaper way to get everything in one bill.

FOX One vs Fubo FAQ

Does FOX One include ESPN?
Not on its own. FOX One is FOX networks only. There is a bundle that adds ESPN Unlimited for $39.99 a month total, which is cheaper than subscribing to both separately.
Can FOX One replace Fubo?
Only if FOX is all you watch. FOX One has no ABC, CBS or NBC, no ESPN and no regional sports networks. Fubo carries all of those, which is most of why it costs more.
Is FOX One cheaper than Fubo?
Yes, substantially. FOX One is $19.99 a month against $64.99 for Fubo Sports and News and $79.99 for Fubo Pro, before Fubo's regional sports fee of $3 to $17.
Does FOX One have a DVR?
Yes. FOX One includes a cloud DVR that keeps recordings for around 270 days, and you can favourite a show so new episodes record automatically. Live event recording is limited by rights in some cases.

FOX One vs Fubo: The Verdict

If everything you watch is on FOX, FOX One is a genuinely good deal and Fubo is overkill. FS1, the Big Ten Network, FOX News and your local FOX station for $19.99, with a cloud DVR that keeps recordings nine months, is hard to argue with. The moment you need one thing outside the FOX family, a CBS game, an ESPN broadcast, your team's regional network, the comparison stops being close: Fubo carries all of it and FOX One carries none of it. Buy FOX One as a supplement, not as a cable replacement, and price the two against each other only if FOX really is the whole list.
