WWE SummerSlam takes place on August 3, 2024 at Cleveland Browns Stadium in Cleveland, Ohio. With the major announcement of WWE programming (including PLEs) moving to Netflix in January 2025, this event marks the final SummerSlam before the new Netflix era.
The event is headlined by WWE Champion Cody Rhodes defending against Solo Sikoa, representing the ever-expanding Bloodline. This is Rhodes’ 4th defense since winning the title at WrestleMania 40 against the Bloodline’s Roman Reigns.
Where to Watch SummerSlam 2024
You can watch SummerSlam 2024 live on Peacock on Saturday, August 3 at 8PM ET / 5PM PT, with a Kickoff show starting at 7PM ET / 4PM PT.
SummerSlam 2024 on Peacock
Under NBCUniversal, Peacock boasts a wide library of series, films, and other content to choose from. If you’re not yet familiar with the service, here’s a link and refresher:
Peacock
Apart from NBC sitcoms, Bravo reality shows, live news channels, and sports events like Sunday Night Football and Premier League matches, Peacock is also the streaming home to originals like Girls5Eva, Poker Face, and Bel-Air. A subscription costs $8/month, but if you want to opt out of ads and tune into your local NBC channel on top of all this, then you can choose their Premium Plus plan, which costs $14/month.
Elsewhere on the card
CM Punk vs Drew McIntyre is the only non-title bout on the card — a grudge match that has been building in some fashion since Punk’s triceps injury in his WWE return match all the way back in January’s Royal Rumble. But it is no straightforward bout as Seth Rollins, rival to both men, serves as the bout’s special referee. The rest of the scheduled action includes title bouts like Liv Morgan (c) v Rhea Ripley for the Women’s World Championship (and Dominik Mysterio’s heart), and much more.
