The latest season of Dragons: The Nine Realms, a spin-off of the Dreamworks beloved franchise How to Train Your Dragon, is set to premiere later this month. It will see the return of Tom and the Dragon Riders as they protect all the realms from their opponents.

The Dragons series takes place in the modern world, more than a thousand years after Hiccup and Toothless flew through the air. In this latest season, Tom and his friends will have to fight a fierce battle that’s bigger and more dangerous than ever before.

Where to watch Dragons: The Nine Realms Season 8

All six episodes of Dragons: The Nine Realms Season 8 will be available to stream on Hulu and Peacock starting December 14.

There are two ways to watch Dragons: The Nine Realms Season 8: on Hulu or Peacock.

Dragons: The Nine Realms Season 8 on Hulu

“What is Hulu?” – said no one after the year 2010, but here is a refresher and a link to subscribe:

Hulu

Hulu may be on the cheaper side at just $7.99/month, but the on-demand streaming service boasts an ever-growing catalog of original series like The Handmaid’s Tale, primetime hits like Modern Family, and BBC imports like Killing Eve. It’s also where you’ll find FX’s critically acclaimed titles like Atlanta, Fargo, and Reservation Dogs. Hulu runs on ads, but if you can’t stand commercials, you can go ad-free for $17.99/month.

Price: $7.99/month

Dragons: The Nine Realms Season 8 on Peacock

Peacock famously used to offer viewers a free way to watch their favorite shows online. But even though it no longer has a zero-cost option, it’s still home to a lot of must-watch titles:

Peacock

Apart from NBC sitcoms, Bravo reality shows, live news channels, and sports events like Sunday Night Football and Premier League matches, Peacock is also the streaming home to originals like Girls5Eva, Poker Face, and Bel-Air. A subscription costs $6/month, but if you want to opt out of ads and tune into your local NBC channel on top of all this, then you can choose their Premium Plus plan, which costs $12/month.

Price: $5.99/month

Will season 8 be their final call?

It’s easy to assume that Dragons: The Nine Realms will have at least nine seasons, seeing as each season so far focuses on one realm. But it’s just as possible that season 8 wraps it all up by showing two other realms in one explosive season. It’s all up in the air at this point, and there’s only one way to find out whether this coming season is Dragons‘ curtain call or just another step in an ever-growing journey.

All seven first seasons are available to watch on Hulu and Peacock

There are currently 46 episodes of Dragons: The Nine Realms available to stream on Hulu and Peacock. In case you’re only starting, you’ll be happy to know that the show’s fairly easy to watch as each episode clocks in at about 23 minutes.
