Let’s be honest, no matter how much true crime we’re stuffed with, we can never get enough of it. It’s almost sadistic how we’ve become obsessed with it, but we digress. We’re not here to judge anyone’s viewing habits; we’re just here to let you know where you can stream the latest spine-chilling true crime series.
In Hulu’s case, that’s the third and latest season of Wild Crime, set to premiere on November 30. While the first two seasons focused on the sinister acts that happened in the country’s seemingly peaceful parks, season three, titled Wild Crime: Blood Mountain, extends to America’s equally mysterious forests. In particular, this season follows the curious case of Meredith Emerson, a 24-year-old who vanished without a trace in the titular Blood Mountains of Georgia. While her disappearance might’ve looked like a one-off case initially, similar instances have investigators wondering about a possible bigger picture.
Where to watch Wild Crime Season 3
Despite being co-produced by ABC News, Wild Crime will be exclusively premiering on Hulu on November 30. So far, there’s no news yet whether it will premiere live on the network.
That means there are currently two ways to watch Wild Crime Season 3: on-demand on Hulu or Hulu with Live TV.
Wild Crime Season 3 on Hulu
“What is Hulu?” – said no one after the year 2010, but here is a refresher and a link to subscribe:
Hulu
Hulu may be on the cheaper side at just $7.99/month, but the on-demand streaming service boasts an ever-growing catalog of original series like The Handmaid’s Tale, primetime hits like Modern Family, and BBC imports like Killing Eve. It’s also where you’ll find FX’s critically acclaimed titles like Atlanta, Fargo, and Reservation Dogs. Hulu runs on ads, but if you can’t stand commercials, you can go ad-free for $17.99/month.
Wild Crime Season 3 on Hulu with Live TV
You can also catch the latest season of Wild Crime on Hulu’s live TV platform:
Hulu with Live TV
Combining the best of streaming and cable, Hulu with Live TV pairs Hulu’s original programming like Only Murders in the Building, imports like Normal People, and licensed ABC shows like Modern Family with live TV channels like CNN, CBS, and TCM to give you an all-in-one TV package. The plans start at $77/month (with ads), but for an additional fee, you can upgrade to a bundle that removes commercials and throws in Disney+ and ESPN+ to the mix.
Ideas were exhausted in the first two seasons
True crime is an oversaturated genre, so early on, Wild Crime made the smart decision to narrow its focus to two things: state parks and unsung heroes. The first two seasons were successful—that is, equal parts informative and watchable—because they followed that credo to a T. Season 1 investigated a case in the Rocky Mountain National Park, while Season 2 was about a murder in the Yosemite. All the while, they mostly followed the POV of the detectives. While more crimes have likely been committed in parks in the country, it makes sense for Wild Crime to move on to a larger area of interest. It still feels thematic and on-point at the same time.
Seasons one and two are available to watch on Hulu
There are currently eight episodes of Wild Crime available to stream on Hulu.
