Adapting a cult classic isn’t easy, especially when coming from one of the beloved Monty Python troupe. But with the absurd comedy genius of Taika Waititi, Jemaine Clement, and Iain Morris, it looks like the reboot of Time Bandits is in great hands.

Time Bandits isn’t an exact one-on-one adaptation, but it still has the history-hopping shenanigans from the original 1981 film, this time expanded into ten episodes, with a modern twist.

Where to watch Time Bandits reboot

Time Bandits premieres on Apple TV+ starting Wednesday, July 24, with two episodes released every week until August 21.

It costs $9.99/month and can be played on most devices except Android phones and tablets.

Who is starring in Time Bandits?

The original Time Bandits is centered on history-obsessed Kevin, and so too is this show, portrayed by Kal-El Tuck. And of course, Taika Waititi and Jemaine Clement are no stranger to starring in the shows they create, portraying Supreme Being and Pure Evil, respectively.

All ten episodes are available to watch on Apple TV+
