What’s new with The Zone: Survival Mission?
When the show started, The Zone: Survival Mission focused on apocalyptic disaster scenarios. Last season, comedian Yoo Jae-suk, actor Lee Kwang-soo, and former idol Kwon Yuri went through and survived more common, but no less deadly, disasters.
This season, Jae-suk and Yuri now have to face real-life issues now fueled by technology– from large-scale AI takeovers to much more personal housing loans. While Kwang-soo has left the series, former UFC fighter Kim Dong Hyun and former soldier Dex now joins them. Because of this, some scenarios are made more physically difficult with their skills in mind.
