Sci-fi/drama series Silo debuted straight away as one of the biggest successes in Apple TV+ history, and they return with confidence with their second season November 2024. The series is about a community of people living in a silo, an underground chamber or pit of sorts, and are forbidden from exploring the outside world. Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, lead star Rebecca Ferguson (Juliette Nichols) hints at a darker second season: “We know the characters. Now it can go dark. Now things can happen.”
Where to Watch Silo Season 2

Silo Season 2 on Apple TV+
When it comes to quality alone, few come close to Apple TV+ and its originals. If you’re not yet familiar with the service, here’s a link and refresher:
Apple TV+
Apple TV+ is an ad-free and on-demand streaming service whose library may seem small compared to other streamers, but you can be sure that every single title it has is produced in-house. This covers critically acclaimed films like Killers of the Flower Moon, as well as dramas, sitcoms, kids' shows, and more recently, Friday Night Baseball. It costs $9.99/month and can be played on most devices except Android phones and tablets.
Behind the Silo series
The Silo series is based on the Silo sci-fi novel series by Hugh Howey. There are 3 books in the series—Wool, Shift, and Dust—suggesting that the Apple TV+ adaptation could possibly just follow the same template, with a definite end in sight within the next season or two.
