After two years, the breathtaking multi-generational saga of Pachinko continues, starting from where they left off in Japan in both timelines of the story. Sunja, the future matriarch of the Kim family, finds her story continue in Osaka in 1945, as World War II reaches its end. Meanwhile, her grandson Solomon finds himself traveling to Tokyo in a more peaceful time in 1989, though certain dynamics still remain.

Who is returning to Pachinko season 2?

In Osaka, 1945, Minha Kim portrays young adult Sunja and Steve Sang-Hyun Noh plays Isak, both continued to be married, even if Koh Hansu (Lee Min-ho) still remains in the picture. Jung Eun-chae plays young Kyunghee, who Sunja befriends.

Meanwhile, in 1989, Youn Yuh-jung plays the older Sunja, with Jin Ha portraying her grandson Solomon Baek. Soji Arai portrays Baek Mozasu, his father. In Solomon’s company, Anna Sawai plays co-worker Naomi, while Jimmi Simpson portrays his boss Tom Andrews.
