Gremlins fans were first introduced to the acclaimed animated series in 2023’s Gremlins: Secrets of the Mogwai. After a little over a year, the series returns with its second season called Gremlins: The Wild Batch, premiering October 2 on Max. The show has elements of fantasy, adventure, comedy, and horror, and the second season revolves around Gizmo, Sam, and Elle’s adventures from Shanghai to San Francisco, encountering supernatural beings along the way.

On how the series is different, series executive producer Brendan Hay says, “We open up what’s possible and just [try] different ways to have fun with Mogwai and the entire world[…] We get pretty terrifying and completely silly at the same time.”
