Upper East Side in the 1970s. Socialites with razor-sharp tongues. A brilliant cast of women playing the original Housewives, and Truman Capote, collecting secrets and publishing them for all to read, unknowingly setting his own path to destruction (hell hath no fury like New York women scorned, after all). This is the basis of the latest season of the anthology series FEUD, which follows Capote (Tom Hollander) and the high society women he befriends and, eventually, betrays.
Also known as The Swans, they’re played by a megawatt cast that includes Naomi Watts, Diane Lane, Chloë Sevigny, Calista Flockhart, Demi Moore, and Molly Ringwald. If it’s anything like the first season of FEUD, which was about the blistering rivalry between Hollywood divas Bette Davis and Joan Crawford, then FEUD: Capote vs. The Swans is certainly one to watch.
Where to watch FEUD: Capote vs. The Swans
The new season of FEUD will air on FX with two episodes on Wednesday, January 31 at 10:00 PM ET/PT. New episodes will be available to stream on Hulu the next day.
There are two ways to watch FEUD season 2: live on FX or the next day on Hulu.
FEUD: Capote vs. The Swans on Hulu
“What is Hulu?” – said no one after the year 2010, but here is a refresher and a link to subscribe:
Hulu
Hulu may be on the cheaper side at just $7.99/month, but the on-demand streaming service boasts an ever-growing catalog of original series like The Handmaid’s Tale, primetime hits like Modern Family, and BBC imports like Killing Eve. It’s also where you’ll find FX’s critically acclaimed titles like Atlanta, Fargo, and Reservation Dogs. Hulu runs on ads, but if you can’t stand commercials, you can go ad-free for $17.99/month.

If you had to pick a publicized feud to dramatize, it just had to be Bette Davis (Susan Sarandon) and Joan Crawford (Jessica Lange), and Ryan Murphy was smart enough to know that. The first season of FEUD was brilliant—it was crackling with wit and drama, all while being drenched in beautiful period costumes and set pieces. But for all its catfights and glamor, it also had something important to say about how the patriarchy puppeteers the fights it ends up always winning.
The first season of FEUD is available to watch on Hulu
There are currently eight episodes of FEUD available to stream on Hulu. The show received multiple nods from award shows when it came out in 2017.
