A brand new debate and dialogue special about civil discourse premiers September 2024. The one-off program will be moderated by Aaron Tang, a professor of Law at UC Davis School of Law, and will feature a panel of guests with legal, political, and various other backgrounds. The aim of the project is to “facilitate civil discourse in an era dominated by polarizing debates,” with the topic being ethical dilemmas grounded in real life contexts.
Where to Watch Deadlock without Cable
Deadlock premiers on PBS on Friday, September 20 at 9PM ET.
Deadlock on PBS
You can watch Deadlock on PBS without cable on any of these cord-cutting services:
YouTube TV
Often dubbed as the best cordless replacement to cable, YouTube TV is a live TV streaming platform that gives you access to more than 100 channels, sporting events, local channels, unlimited DVR space, and up to three simultaneous streams. But what really gives YouTube TV its edge is customization; depending on your needs, you can easily add premium channels like HBO, sports channels like NFL Redzone, and Spanish channels like Unimas to your preferred lineup.
Behind Deadlock
A huge part of the special will be the facilitation of Professor Aaron Tang’s, who encourages finding nuance and complexity in the answers rather than be overconfidently all-in on our beliefs. Also behind the program is GBH, “the leading multiplatform creator for public media in America,” and a producer and partner for PBS.
