How to Watch Criminal Record

A classic case of good versus evil, except the lines between them blur the closer you get to the divide. That’s what Criminal Record is apparently, a tug-of-war between Detective Sergeant June Lenker (The Good Wife‘s Cush Jumbo) and Detective Chief Inspector Daniel Hegarty (Doctor Who’s Peter Capaldi). Lenker is the good cop who investigates Hegarty’s suspicious bad cop motives, but if the trailer is to be believed, this could be one of the shows, like the BBC’s Better, that dives deep into gray areas and murky moral territory. Is Lenker virtuous or naive? Is Hegarty corrupt or practical?

We’ve got eight episodes to find out.

Where to watch Criminal Record

Apple TV+

Apple TV+ is an ad-free and on-demand streaming service whose library may seem small compared to other streamers, but you can be sure that every single title it has is produced in-house. This covers critically acclaimed films like Killers of the Flower Moon, as well as dramas, sitcoms, kids' shows, and more recently, Friday Night Baseball. It costs $9.99/month and can be played on most devices except Android phones and tablets.
