After being removed from the Miami Police Department, most cops would be dismayed by the demotion, but not Andrew Yancy in Apple TV’s Bad Monkey. The easygoing detective feels right at home in the Keys, at least until a severed arm finds his way to him.

Based on the 2013 novel of the same name, Bad Monkey brings on the humor along with the murder mystery with Bill Lawrence and lead Vince Vaughn at the helm.

Where to watch Bad Monkey

Bad Monkey premieres on Apple TV+ starting Wednesday, August 14, with a two episode premiere, and a new episode following every week until October 9.

Apple TV+

Apple TV+ is an ad-free and on-demand streaming service whose library may seem small compared to other streamers, but you can be sure that every single title it has is produced in-house. This covers critically acclaimed films like Killers of the Flower Moon, as well as dramas, sitcoms, kids' shows, and more recently, Friday Night Baseball. It costs $9.99/month and can be played on most devices except Android phones and tablets.

Who is starring in Bad Monkey?

Vince Vaughn stars as Andrew Yancy, a detective turned inspector, though trouble finds him, despite the demotion. John Ortiz brings trouble to him as his ex-case partner Rogelio. Meanwhile, Meredith Hagner is suspicious as the victim’s wife Eve Stripling, but it’s likely that Rob Delaney as Christopher might be the actual culprit.

All ten episodes are available to watch on Apple TV+

There are 10 episodes of Bad Monkey streaming on Apple TV+.
