Without screening the second season in America, the fate of legal drama 61st Street was up in the air after AMC cancelled it in 2022. While the plot takes familiar avenues, and it holds a bleak outlook on Chicago corruption, the themes were relevant, the issues are true, and the performances of Emmy Award winner Courtney B. Vance and the supporting cast were marvelous.
